I place my puck's close to where I am drawing to reduce my hand & arm movement across the drawing tablet. Working on a big screen I would also like to have the Edit & Image functions floating like the brush puck. The compression massage is helpful but as a popup, sometimes its overlooked on a big bussy screen, or by accident. I would like to have the compressing of layers done in a separate selection, ie the Edit section. I also have sub groups for arms legs body head per character, (in order to create movement of the character). In a single file, I have 38 comic book pages with multiple groups of up to 10 characters & multiple backgrounds.
If you have a hidden or locked layer, SP automatically compresses all layers into a single layer if you miss the message.Īs a comic book artist, working from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, I sometimes dont save a backup for a few days and have lost quite a bit work.
